PHARMACY

AFNS

The Armed Forces Nursing Services, or AFNS, is the nursing department of the Pakistan Army. The department is under the army medical command and performs duties in both normal as well as critical care.

Candidates interested in joining AFNS should be between the ages of 18 and 28 years old. They must be unmarried and free of debt. Before applying, candidates must submit an attested copy of their domicile, CNIC, six colored attested photographs and their academic certificates. If the candidate has a dual nationality, she must surrender one of her nationalities.

Females can apply for AFNS after completing matriculation and intermediate FA/FSc. They will receive four weeks of basic military training, followed by three years of training in a military hospital. In return, they will be rewarded with a lieutenant rank, with a monthly stipend.

PAK ARMY

Joining the army is a life changing experience. It requires dedication, new skills, and most importantly, a change in responsibilities. Fortunately, there are many opportunities for women in the Pakistani Army. Here are some of them.

The GHQ selection board holds interviews in Karachi and Rawalpindi. Female candidates who have a bachelors degree in the fields of science, engineering, or mathematics are a good bet. Besides, there are a number of other fields in which females can apply.

For example, you can join the Corps of Ordnance as a supply chain management officer. Likewise, you can work in the gynecology department as a specialist. And, if you’re willing to make the trip south of the border, you could become a pilot in the Pak Air Force.
