Fulbright Scholarships

These HEC Scholarships are open to both male and female applicants, as long as they meet all eligibility requirements. They can be obtained through the official HEC website or from the financial aid office at the university of choice.

According to the Chairman of HEC, Dr Mukhtar, these scholarships are a part of efforts by the HEC to increase its international recognition and to enhance education standards in Pakistan. The scholarship programme is also being used to promote research collaborations between universities and institutions in the country.

The Higher Education Commission has signed an agreement with Western Sydney University to support eligible Pakistani candidates. This joint scholarship provides a living allowance of $19,000 AUD per annum, a contribution towards Overseas Student Health Cover and one return international airfare to Australia.

CMEEF Scholarships

The Chief Minister Education Endowment Fund Scholarships (CMEEF) is a merit and need-based scholarship that is available for undergraduate and graduate students. The scholarship covers all educational expenses of the recipient, as well as a monthly stipend from the KP government.

To apply for the CMEEF scholarship, candidates must have a valid offer of admission in an approved discipline and meet the eligibility criteria set by the KP Higher Education, Archives and Libraries Department. They must also be domiciled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to qualify for the scholarship.

The CMEEF scholarship is one of the most popular need-based scholarships in Pakistan and helps qualified students pursue their degree programmes at a range of universities.
